The European Association for the History of Medicine and Health (EAHMH) was established in 1989, with its seat in Cologne. The very position of its seat represents the truly European nature of its mission and outlook.
We aim to foster research and the international exchange of views on all issues concerning health and medicine in Europe and their connections with the extra-European world. For this purpose, EAHMH attracts members world-wide, from North America to Australasia.
Members include demographers, social historians, social anthropologists and medical historians.
The benefits of membership include subscription to the European Journal for the History of Medicine and Health, reduced registration rate at the Association’s biennial conferences, a discount on the EAHMH book series Clio Medica, the opportunity to apply for bursaries, the opportunity to apply for EAHMH network membership, the opportunity to enter the Pieter van Foreest student prize, and to nominate books for the book prize.
Membership for one year is 45 euros; or 35 euros for an online only subscription; membership for two years is 65 euros (online only) or 85 euros (online + print).
You can also pay using the Paypal option below.
If this is somehow not possible, you can pay by transferring the membership fee directly to THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE HISTORY OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH (Sparkasse Köln-Bonn, IBAN: DE50 3705 0198 1935 5519 68). Please not, it is very important to add your name and e-mail address to the comment section.
