We just held our biennial conference that took place from 7 to 10 September 2021. This year's meeting centred around the theme of faith, medicine and religion, and was co-organized by the Research Group Cultural History since 1750 at KU Leuven. The 2023 conference theme will be announced soon!
We partner with the internationally recognized publisher Brill to continue the famous Clio Medica book series. You are welcome to submit proposals as well as informal enquiries!
Our European Journal for the History of Medicine and Health is a double-blind peer-reviewed international journal that welcomes submissions from all regions and covering all eras of history.
The EAHMH awards a book prize every two years for the best medical history monograph published in the years preceding our biennial conference.
The EAHMH facilitates international networks of four scholars and more who are organized around a particular topic in the field of the history of medicine and health. We welcome new networks!
